Green Turmeric Iced Tea For Immunity
Your green tea can be even healthier with a dash of turmeric, ginger and refreshing lime juice.
INGREDIENTS
- 3 cups water
- 2 green tea bags
- 1/3 cup raw honey
- 1 teaspoon ginger root, minced
- 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- Freshly squeeze lime
- Ice
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a medium pot, combine the water, ginger, turmeric, honey, and salt.
- Simmer for 10 minutes then turn off the heat. Add the green tea bags and steep for 5 minutes.
- Strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer and then allow to cool.
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes, pour the tea over the ice, and then squeeze fresh lime juice over the top.
